ÖAW-GIScience PhD Group in Salzburg
The Salzburg cluster of GIScience research institutions is supporting a joint programme for graduate students. These students work on projects based at the University of Salzburg - Z_GIS , the Austrian Research Centre's iSPACE Research Studio , ÖAW GIScience or externally e.g. with cooperation partners from industry.
Team-based supervision includes professors from international partners (e.g. across the UNIGIS International network) and brings students together in seminars and research workshops. The 'Geoinformatics Colloquium' series links students with visiting scientists and provides a forum for exchange of ideas and stimulating discussion.
