Current Research

Support of management and planning (including monitoring approaches) for natural resources, nature conservation and protected areas by the use of geo-informatics and GIScience focusing on:

  • data models and data modeling
  • WebMapping and cartographic applications
  • Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI)

 

Geography and Geoinformatics, Human-nature interaction. Specific research interests: Usability & Taskability (regarding needs and demands of environmental and nature conservation, resource management).

EC Project Staff

Nature-SDIplus - Best Practice Network for SDI in Nature Conservation.
