Current Research

Geoinformatics for (spatial) planning, management and monitoring initiatives focusing on:

• Data modeling and data processing tailored towards planning tasks
• (Collaborative) geocommunication and geovisualisation
• User-centric application development
• Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI)

Geography and Geoinformatics, Human-nature interaction. Specific research interests: Usability & Taskability (regarding needs and demands of environmental and nature conservation, resource management).
